What if Hell Isn't the End of God's Love?

The traditional Christian belief about hell says that after death, every person is judged, and those who are not saved are sent to hell — a state of conscious suffering from which there is no escape and no possibility of redemption.

For many Christians, this teaching has long been treated as settled, but for many non-Christians, it is one of the main reasons they reject Christianity.

This letter is not an attempt to deny responsibility, or the seriousness of moral choice. But, it is written because what we say about hell shapes how people understand God — and if a doctrine consistently drives people away from faith rather than toward it, then it deserves honest re-examination.

This letter makes the case that redemption in the afterlife is both biblically plausible and theologically coherent — by examining scripture in its historical context, reflecting on the philosophical implications of eternal punishment, and engaging with real-world testimony.
